GOVERNMENT OF THE GAMBIA SCHOLARSHIP TENABLE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE GAMBIA 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR
The Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science & Technology is pleased to announce that the Government of The Gambia is offering undergraduate scholarships to eligible candidates in the 2025/2026 academic year tenable at the University of The Gambia.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
✔ Applicants must be Gambian citizens.
✔ Applicants should be admitted to the University of The Gambia.
✔Applicants should have a minimum of seven (7) credits including English Language and Mathematics.
✔ Continuing students should have a minimum of 3.0 CGPA for science fields and 3.5 CGPA for students in the non-science fields; The bar can be raised depending on the number of vacancies available.
✔ Priority is given to STEM, Natural Sciences, Medicine, Public Health, Environmental Science, Construction and Architecture candidates.
✔Applicants in employment are urged to attach a recommendation letter from their respective institutions.
Important Steps for Payment of Gambia Government Scholarship Form for UTG
1. Register for Payment: Start by registering to pay for your application form at this link: https://lnkd.in/d98FKDdf.
2. Get Your Digit Code: Once you complete the online registration, you'll receive a Digit Code immediately.
3. Make the Payment: Visit any of the following banks to pay the non-refundable fee of D100 into the Gambia Revenue Gateway Account:
4. Collect Your Form: After completing the payment, head to the Ministry's office in Bijilo to pick up your Gambia Government Scholarship Form.
5. Applicants should present the payment receipt to MoHERST Accounts and get the scholarship form.
Kindly note that, the completed applications should be submitted to the Ministry on or before14th April 2025.
